North Sea Marine Cluster delivers first Facilitation Day

On the 11th December 2009 the North Sea Marine Cluster delivered its first Facilitation Day aimed at forging closer links between Commercial and Academic Organisations involved in all aspects of Marine Sector within the East of England Region.

The scope of the facilitation day was to:

·         help colleagues from the commercial and academic sectors to explore the others expertise and capability, and identify what each could offer to the other

·         identify where research and commercial interests overlap, and opportunities that may exist to facilitate each activity.

·         highlight the benefits of working with each other and to open paths of communication

 

 
Hosted and facilitated by the UEA and members of the NSMC the event was attended by approx 20 individuals and identified a range of opportunities to work together to their mutual benefit.
