Ocean Endeavour Returns Home

The large multi-role survey vessel, owned by Great Yarmouth based company Gardline for the last 9 years, returned home recently following a 7,000 mile journey from the port of Durban, South Africa.  Prior to this and based in the Asian Pacific for almost three years, she carried out a number of successful seismic exploration surveys in and around the North West Coast of Australia. 

An ideal platform for geophysical and geotechnical surveys, the OE on departure from Australia also performed a large project in the China Sea before eventually ending her world wide tour of duty off Mozambique, East Africa.

She will be based in Lowestoft for a short period of maintenance before setting sail again, but this time for a series of projects that include pipeline surveys as well as geotechnical site investigations located in the North Sea.  The work carried out on behalf of Gardline's oil and gas clients is anticipated to take the OE through the summer months and beyond.

Gardline currently owns and operates a fleet of 13 multi-role survey vessels and also offers 24/7 support and crew vessels to the renewable industry.
